After a very slow week last week, we have some major releases this week. We have an Oscar nominated for best picture flick, an action flick and a buddy comedy. So in short, something for everything.
Keep in mind, we only feature major motion picture releases here, and no TV series, or straight to DVD's. I also will link you back to my original review (where applicable) to help you make an informed decision before you rent, buy or hit pay on your remote.
New This Week
Her
A big cast with Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and a great voice performance by Scarlett Johansson. This is an acquired taste, as our main character has a relationship with his computer operating system in the near future. Some say very creative, some say creepy.
I, Frankenstein
A huge box office flop from early in the calender year. Aaron Eckart in this new adaptation of the classic.
That Awkward Moment
Buddy comedy that did have some funny moments, and some extreme raunchiness. Again, this is an acquired taste
